The Company:
This wonderful creative agency that delivers momentous live experiences that focuses on creating meaningful productions that influence perception and change of behaviour are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their rapidly growing team. This agency works with a lot of NFP clients but also works with major clients in other sectors across Australia.
The Role:
Senior Project Manager reports to the Event Director and Managing Director and can have up to three direct reports (producers, co-ordinators, etc). The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for developing creative concepts for clients and seeing those concepts right through from conception to final delivery onsite and post-event reporting.
Key Responsibilities include;
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working as a Project Manager, Event Manager or Event Producer in a corporate environment. Experience working on high-profile charity gala dinners and other events is highly desirable. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are highly sought after.

The Role:
Senior Project Manager reports to the Event Director and Managing Director and can have up to three direct reports (producers, co-ordinators, etc). The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for developing creative concepts for clients and seeing those concepts right through from conception to final delivery onsite and post-event reporting.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Independently prepare concept proposals including researching and presentations.
- Manage visualisation of concepts by briefing designers
- Provide solid leadership for the team and clients.
- Identify challenges, troubleshoot and provide solutions.
- Lead teams in the task of developing and implementing projects.
- Client liaison for duration of projects in office or at client’s office as required.
- Timeline and milestone planning.
- Manage event RSVP and ticketing as appropriate.
- Write and manage run sheets, bump in and bump out schedules.
- Manage co-ordination and implementation of creative.
- Lead liaison and coordination with production and build teams.
- Lead liaison and coordination of all third party suppliers.
- Lead project budgeting.
- Manage day-to-day workflow to ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.
- Develop and manage all production schedules, specifications, and budgets for assigned jobs.
- National and international travel to plan for and deliver live projects.
- Oversee bump in of suppliers, managing crews, training staff.
- Oversee the smooth running of event, problem solving etc.
- Oversee bump-out within OH&S and company standards.
- Write and present debrief and wrap up.
- Manage internal and external talent.
- Ensure all legal/contractual obligations are met with both clients and suppliers on all projects (POs, supplier agreements, etc).
- Supply schedule, budget, assumptions, and scope considerations for all production elements.
- Identify new opportunities with existing clients by identifying their needs.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working as a Project Manager, Event Manager or Event Producer in a corporate environment. Experience working on high-profile charity gala dinners and other events is highly desirable. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are highly sought after.
- Project management experience (client and supplier management, budgeting and producing).
- Work autonomously as well as under direction
- Multi-task and work under time pressure.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Solid computer skills: Working knowledge of all office and project management software (MS PPT, Word, Excel, Canva). Proficiency in Keynote is essential.
- Experience working with high-profile clients
- Experience leading a team in pre-event production and onsite adhering to OH&S requirements
- Budget management
- Comfortable with bringing new ideas and creative concepts to the company
