The Company:

Our client is an exciting creative events agency based in Melbourne who thrives on creating sensational events with a difference. With a client base in the education, automotive, sport, financial and corporate spaces, this client is known for creating activations and events that wow audiences.

The Role:

The Senior Account Manager will report to the Director and the Group Account Director, and will have direct reports from the Production Coordinators. The Senior Account Manager will operate as the lead contact for any and all matters relating to key client accounts.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Build and maintain strong, trusting and long-lasting client relationships
  • Identify, develop and implement strategic plans to manage and grow accounts both existing and new business
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise project profitability
  • Work with the larger team to manage and oversee the creation of all key client account business proposals, tenders and budgets etc.
  • Lead and manage client communication including but not limited to project schedules, budgets, timelines, contact reports and WIP documents etc.
  • Lead and manage internal communication, timelines, useful information etc. to ensure projects run smoothly, on time and on budget
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of projects according to client needs, timings, budget and event objectives
  • Provide superior client service and ensure client satisfaction
  • Commit to a solution-oriented mindset and respond to client requests in a timely manner
  • Use client feedback to improve customer experience
  • Maintain strong relationships with operations and logistics with vendors, personnel and suppliers
  • Provide post event reporting and analysis as needed
  • Mentor and provide training opportunities for junior staff in line with their development plan
The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager within an Events Agency. The candidate will have exceptional client services skills, and has proven multi-tasking experience. Experience working closely with high-profile clients on large-scale events is highly desirable.
