The Company:

This wonderful creative agency that delivers momentous live experiences that focuses on creating meaningful productions that influence perception and change of behaviour are looking for a Marketing Manager to join their rapidly growing team. This agency works with a lot of NFP clients but also works with major clients in other sectors across Australia.

The Role:

The Marketing Manager will report to the Company Directors and will have multiple direct reports. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for devising and implementing online and offline marketing plans that ensure the ongoing success of clients’ and business.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Work closely with the Directors brainstorming ideas and developing creative concepts
  • Assist in preparing concept proposals for clients including developing presentations
  • Manage social media channels and company marketing plans (including copywriting and posting)
  • Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout
  • Create, edit, proofread, and publish engaging, brand consistent, content
  • Develop an editorial calendar and ensure content team is on board
  • Optimise content according to SEO
  • Use content management systems to analyse website traffic and user engagement metrics to continuously optimise plan
  • Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic
  • Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection)
  • Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention
  • Identify challenges, troubleshoot and provide solutions
  • Manage and/or prepare internal and external written briefings
  • Client liaison for duration of projects in office or at client’s office as required
  • Timeline and milestone planning
  • Manage co-ordination and implementation of creative
  • Manage day-to-day workflow to ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget
  • Attend client events where required to manage live posting across all platforms
  • Identify new opportunities with existing clients by identifying their needs
  • Create new opportunities with potential clients by engaging your personal network
The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have first hand experience across a broad range of client industries, including finance, sport and not-for-profit. The candidate will have extensive experience working as a Marketing Coordinator or Marketing Manager within a corporate or events agency.
  • Clear and professional communication skills internally and externally
  • Excellent written communications skills – you express yourself clearly and concisely
  • Design and styling skills – natural eye for what looks good
  • Project management experience
  • Experience working on digital and social media marketing campaigns
  • Experience working on offline marketing campaigns
  • Budget management
  • Experience leading a team
